School of Synthesis was established in 2010. We’ve helped many established musicians and producers improve their expertise and we’ve helped hundreds of new producers make and release their first tracks, many of whom have gone on to have great success. Sound Design Online

This course is tutored by Tristan Malloch who has been a brand specialist for major synth companies such as Korg, Native Instruments and Arturia. The course has been co-designed by Davide Carbone who has been making sounds for synths, video games, music and film for over two decades and is renowned for his innovative sound design skills. This course introduces you to sound design, synthesis and sampling and uses the most advanced analogue and digital tools currently used in music production.

Davide Carbone is multi award winning music producer that has worked on projects involving artists including Carl Cox, Moby, Kylie Minogue, Bjork, and Giles Peterson. In this online version of Davide's popular Production Masterclass, which has been running for over ten years, he demonstrates a range of advanced techniques for taking a track from inception to completion and how to make it sound professional. This course covers mixing and mastering techniques that apply to any DAW or piece of outboard gear including dynamic processing, EQ, mixing levels, audio recording, mastering, dynamics and loudness.
